The Cuplock Transom is a key platform-supporting component of modular scaffolding systems, designed to span between ledgers and support steel boards, LVL boards, or timber planks forming the working platform. Equipped with secure wedge or jaw-ended connectors, the transom is designed to lock firmly onto the ledger blades, creating a rigid and stable deck structure with self-aligning connections. Its rectangular or T-section design helps prevent twisting and minimize deflection under heavy loads, making it suitable for demanding construction, infrastructure, and industrial scaffolding applications.

The Cuplock Transom is manufactured from S355 JR Structural Steel in accordance with EN 10025, using a 48.3 mm outer diameter × 3.2 mm wall thickness tube manufactured to EN 10219. Welding is performed using CO₂ / MIG processes in accordance with ISO 3834-2, while the component features a durable Hot-Dip Galvanized finish in accordance with ISO 1461, with a minimum coating thickness of ≥ 85 µm. The transom is manufactured under recognized quality and safety requirements, including ISO 9001, ISO 3834-2, BS EN 74, and BS EN 12811, with suitability for project-specific requirements such as Aramco GI 8.001 and SABIC §9.4.
